Decorating for Halloween has become almost as important to some as decorating for Christmas. Why not keep the spirit of Halloween year round with these “spooky” yet on trend light fixtures.

Mummified Lighting

Invoking the feel of a mummy and its bandages, these decorative lighting fixtures pictured above are just as appropriate for Halloween as they are for your eclectic decor. The LED outdoor wall sconce from Feiss Lighting’s Ledgend collection is modern and dramatic, making a statement as trick-or-treaters reach the front door. Also from Feiss, the Woodstock Chandelier in the middle resembles a gigantic spider hanging from its web, while the illuminating light between the large spiders legs creates a beautiful shadow casting along the walls and ceiling. Aptly named, the Roswell Pendant from Kichler continues the mummy theme with its distinctive, linear design and slightly off kilter circles.

Gothic Romance Chandeliers

If the monster aspect of Halloween isn’t your thing, these chandeliers might warm your dark heart. With just a nod to the Colonial past, the Minka Lavery Kingsgate Chandelier features a black finish with gold accents. Quoizel’s Atrium Foyer Pendant brings European style to your space with flowing curves, twisted framework, and elegant flair. Distressed black metal has graceful elegance in the Kichler Basel Chandelier, giving off a modern vampire vibe.

Reminiscent of the iron details often seen in areas of New Orleans, the historic design in this Outdoor Hanging Lantern from Quoizel’s French Quarter collection invokes a different time when most people believed in the underworld and not just one day a year. The Feiss Resplendent Wall Mirror finished in Hi Gloss Black adds a bit of glamour and Victorian romance to your interior, while the forged iron Maxim Canterbuy Outdoor Wall Lantern greets guest in a similar fashion.

This year, Halloween decorating can be the same as usual – with temporary jack-o-lanterns or gimmicky motion sensor monsters to scare the wits out of anyone that come to your door. Or you can step it up a bit and commit to the look full time with one of our Gothic inspired chandeliers, modern wall sconces, or decorative wall mirrors.
